Child or Dependent Sponsorship

Under this program a Canadian citizen or Permanent resident can sponsor his/her child to come to Canada. There some basic requirement for the sponsor and some eligibility criteria for the dependent child.

 

• Child must be under 22 years old at the time of application

• Child does not have spouse or common law partner

 

Children need to maintain the same status until application process is finished.

 

Children above 22 years old can qualify if they are unable to financially support themselves because of physical or mental condition.
