Start-up Program

Canada’s start-up program attracts immigrant entrepreneurs who have potential to build businesses in Canada. The idea of the business must be innovative, business should create jobs for Canadians and permanent residents, and it should be competitive globally.

 

Start-up ideas should have letter of support from designated organization (venture capitals funds, angel investor groups and business incubators). These organization have their own process to review the business concept and they decide to invest or support the start-up.

 

Applicant/s should meet the language requirements (CLB 5 in all areas) and have enough funds to settle in Canada.
