Work without a work permit

To work in Canada temporarily, normally one needs a work permit but there are some exemptions to work permit requirement.

 

Canada has entered in agreement with some countries, whose citizens can come and work in Canada without work permit. It is applicable to select professions and only specific work which can be carried out without permit.

 

Other than that, there are certain other professions for which one does not work permit. Just to name a few:

 

 

• Work as an athlete or coach

• Business Visitor

• Aviation accident or Incident Investigator

• Crew Member

• Performing Artists

• Full time student working off campus up to 20 hours
